Ingredients

  • 4 c. cubed French bread
  • 2 c. (8 ounce.) shredded cheddar cheese
  • 10 Large eggs, lightly beaten
  • 2 c. half and half
  • 2 c. lowfat milk
  • 1/4 teaspoon onion pwdr
  • 1 teaspoon grnd mustard
  • 8 ounce. salsa (I used mild)
  • Sliced black olives
  • Dash of pepper

Method

  • In buttered 9 x 13 pan arrange bread cubes.
  • Sprinkle with one c. cheese.
  • Pour on salsa.
  • Beat Large eggs, half and half, lowfat milk, mustard, pepper and onion pwdr.
  • Pour in pan.
  • Top with remaining cheese and sliced olives.
  • Refrigerateovernight.
  • Bake uncovered at 325 degrees for 1 hour or possibly till set.
  • Serve with lowfat sour cream and toppings.
