Ingredients

  • 3 lb. ground beef
  • 2 pieces celery, chopped
  • 3 green scallions, chopped
  • 1/4 c. catsup
  • 1/2 c. water
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 2 tsp. crushed red pepper
  • 1/4 tsp. sugar
  • 2 tsp. chili powder or to taste
  • 2 tsp. ground red pepper or Tabasco pepper sauce
  • 1/2 tsp. garlic salt
  • 1 can Bush's chili hot beans

Method

  • Cook ground beef in a frying pan until lightly brown; drain excess oil off of beef.
  • Add onions and celery.
  • Cook about 3 minutes in frying pan, then add ground meat and all other ingredients.
  • Mix well.
  • Simmer about 30 minutes.
