Ingredients
- 3 eggs
- 2 c. milk
- 3 heaping Tbsp. flour
- 1 pie shell
- 3/4 c. sugar
- 1 heaping Tbsp. cocoa
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1 tsp. butter
Method
- Beat egg yolks with milk in a double boiler; set aside.
- In a bowl, mix flour, sugar and cocoa together; add to milk and eggs, then add vanilla and butter.
- Cook until thick.
- Pour into pie shell.
- Save the egg whites for meringue.
