Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef lean
  • 1 cup onions chopped
  • 1/2 cup green chili peppers or green peppers
  • 1 tablespoon chili powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon and cumin
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 28 ounces tomatoes canned
  • 13 cup raisins, seedless
  • 1 x rice cooked

Method

  • Cook beef in large skillet over medium-high heat until browned, Add onions and chile; cook 3 minutes more.
  • Add chili powder, cinnamon, cup umin and salt; cook 30 seconds.
  • Add tomatoes in puree, breaking up tomatoes with back of Cook, stirring occasionally, over medium heat 15 minutes.
