Ingredients

  • 1 lb frozen bread dough, thawed
  • 1/4 cup salted butter, melted
  • 1/4 tsp lemon zest
  • 1/4 tsp fresh chopped rosemary leaves
  • 1/4 tsp fresh chopped parsley leaves
  • 1 tsp minced garlic
  • 1 None egg, lightly beaten
  • 1 tsp sesame seeds

Method

  • Preheat oven to 350°F. Lightly grease a 12-cup muffin pan. Divide dough into 30 pieces. Shape each into balls. Set aside, covered.
  • Combine butter, lemon zest, herbs and garlic. Dip each ball into butter mixture then arrange 3 balls in each of 10 muffin wells. Cover with a clean tea towel and let proof for 1 hour, or until doubled in size.
  • Lightly brush proofed dough with egg wash then sprinkle with sesame seeds. Bake for 15 mins, or until golden brown. Let cool for 15 mins then remove from pan. Serve.
