Ingredients

  • 1 lb. ground beef
  • 1 Tbsp. butter
  • 1 c. cottage cheese
  • 1 c. milk
  • 2 beaten eggs
  • 2 c. cooked noodles
  • 1/2 c. chopped onion
  • 1 can mushroom soup
  • 1/2 c. grated Cheddar cheese

Method

  • Saute onion in butter; add ground beef and cook until done. Add the cottage cheese.
  • In buttered casserole, alternate layers of noodles and meat mixture.
  • Mix mushroom soup and milk and pour over all.
  • Top with Cheddar cheese and bake at 375° for 1 hour.
