Ingredients

  • 4 boned turkey thighs
  • 1 onion
  • 2 Tbsp. margarine
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 tsp. paprika
  • 1 Tbsp. all-purpose flour
  • 1 c. sour cream
  • 1 (4 oz.) can sliced green chili peppers
  • chives (for garnish)

Method

  • Rinse turkey thighs.
  • Pat dry.
  • Peel and chop onion.
  • In a skillet, heat margarine.
  • Add turkey thighs and saute until browned on all sides (about 15 minutes).
  • Add onion and saute a few more minutes.
  • Sprinkle with salt, paprika and flour.
  • Stir to combine.
  • Cover.
  • Cook over medium-low heat about 25 minutes, turning thighs from time to time.
  • Cut thighs into halves.
  • Add sour cream and chili peppers.
  • Blend well and cook for another 4 to 5 minutes.
  • Sprinkle with chopped chives.
  • Good served with rice or noodles.
  • Serves 8.
