Ingredients
- 1 head cabbage, shredded
- 2 chopped bell peppers
- 2 shredded carrots
- 2 c. sugar
- 1 tsp. celery seed
- 1 tsp. mustard seed
- 1 c. vinegar
Method
- Cover cabbage, pepper and carrots with cold water with 2 teaspoons salt added.
- Prepare broth with sugar, celery seed, mustard seed and vinegar by bringing to a boil.
- Cool.
- Drain cabbage mixture from water.
- Pour over cabbage.
- Put into containers and freeze.
