Ingredients

  • 1 (21 1/2 oz.) pkg. Pillsbury brownie mix
  • 1/2 c. flour
  • 1/2 c. water
  • 1/4 c. vegetable oil
  • 1 egg
  • 6 oz. chocolate chips
  • 1 c. chopped walnuts (if desired)
  • chocolate frosting (if desired)

Method

  • Heat oven to 350°.
  • Generously grease cookie sheets.
  • In a large bowl, combine brownie mix, flour, water, oil and egg.
  • By hand, stir with a spoon until dough is formed.
  • Stir in chocolate chips and nuts.
  • Drop by rounded teaspoons 2 inches apart on a greased cookie sheet.
  • Bake for 8 to 12 minutes.
  • Cool 1 minute. Remove from cookie sheet; cool completely.
  • Frost with chocolate frosting.
  • For a thicker cookie, add 2 to 4 tablespoons flour. Makes 3 dozen.
