Ingredients

  • 1 (18 1/2 ounce) box German chocolate cake mix
  • 3 eggs (or as called for by your cake mix)
  • 13 cup oil (or as called for by your cake mix)
  • 1 13 cups water (or as called for by your cake mix)
  • 1 lb confectioners' sugar
  • 12 cup butter or 12 cup margarine
  • 1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese, softened

Method

  • Mix cake as directed on package.
  • Pour into 13x9-inch pan.
  • Combine butter and cream cheese in saucepan.
  • heat on low until melted.
  • Stir in box of confectioner's sugar.
  • Pour over cake.
  • Bake at 350F until cake is done.
  • Cake is upside down when turned out of pan onto plate.
