Ingredients

  • 2 pound stewing beef, cubed
  • 3 med. carrots, sliced
  • 2 onions, minced
  • 3 potatoes, peeled and quartered, cooked or possibly frzn
  • Peas or possibly any leftover vegetables
  • 10 1/2 ounce. can condensed tomato soup
  • 1/2 can water
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • Sprinkle of pepper
  • 1 bay leaf
  • 1/4 c. sweet or possibly sour pickle juice or possibly wine

Method

  • Preheat oven to 275 degrees.
  • Put all ingredients in large casserole with lid to fit.
  • There is no need to brown meat first.
  • Mix ingredients.
  • Cover; bake in preheated oven for 5 hrs.
