Ingredients
- 2 pound stewing beef, cubed
- 3 med. carrots, sliced
- 2 onions, minced
- 3 potatoes, peeled and quartered, cooked or possibly frzn
- Peas or possibly any leftover vegetables
- 10 1/2 ounce. can condensed tomato soup
- 1/2 can water
- 1 teaspoon salt
- Sprinkle of pepper
- 1 bay leaf
- 1/4 c. sweet or possibly sour pickle juice or possibly wine
Method
- Preheat oven to 275 degrees.
- Put all ingredients in large casserole with lid to fit.
- There is no need to brown meat first.
- Mix ingredients.
- Cover; bake in preheated oven for 5 hrs.
