Ingredients
- 3 c. water
- 2/3 c. sugar
- 20 whole cloves
- 2 sticks cinnamon
- 1 (32 oz.) bottle apple cider, chilled
- 1 (24 oz.) bottle white or purple grape juice
- juice of 6 lemons (1 c.)
- ice
- lemon slices
Method
- In saucepan, combine water, sugar and spices.
- Bring to boil, stirring, until sugar dissolves.
- Reduce heat; simmer 5 minutes. Chill; remove spices.
- To serve, combine all ingredients in punch bowl.
- For garnish, float lemon slices in punch.
- Makes 12 cups (16 six-ounce servings).
