Ingredients
- 1 pkg. dry yeast
- 1/2 c. warm water (105~ to 115~)
- 2 1/2 c. biscuit mix
- 1 Tbsp. sugar
- 1 egg, beaten
- 8 oz. yogurt cheese or cream cheese
- 1/3 c. sugar
- 1 Tbsp. lemon juice
- 1/4 c. strawberry preserves
Method
- Dissolve yeast in warm water; let stand for 5 minutes. Add biscuit mix, 1 tablespoon sugar and eggs; stir well.
- Turn dough out onto a floured surface and knead until smooth and elastic. Place in a well-greased bowl, turning to grease top; cover and chill for 8 hours.
- Punch dough down; turn out on a lightly greased baking sheet.
- Roll into a 14 x 9-inch rectangle.
