Ingredients
- 1 medium head lettuce, torn into bite size pieces
- 1 c. chopped onion
- 1 c. diced celery
- 1 c. chopped green peppers
- 1 c. frozen peas, cooked, drained, cooled and dried
- 1 1/2 to 2 c. mayonnaise
- 2 Tbsp. sugar
- 4 oz. grated Cheddar cheese
- 8 slices bacon, fried and crumbled
Method
- Place the first 5 ingredients in layers in large oblong dish. Spread mayonnaise over the top.
- Sprinkle sugar, cheese, then bacon over the top.
- Cover and refrigerate 8 to 12 hours.
