Ingredients

  • 3/4 cups Flour, Sifted
  • 1/2 teaspoons Salt
  • 2 whole Eggs
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract
  • 10 Tablespoons Butter
  • 1-1/4 cup Sugar
  • 3/4 cups Dark Cocoa Powder
  • 1/4 cups Powdered Sugar

Method

  • Turn oven to 325F and let it heat up. Line the bottom of a small brownie baking dish with parchment paper and set aside.
  • In a small bowl sift your flour. Then, add salt and set aside.
  • In another small bowl add eggs and vanilla and set aside.
  • Cut butter into small little pieces and add it to a small pot over the stove top for browning. Heat butter over medium-high heat stir constantly until butter browns (about 3-4 minutes). Then add in sugar and stir until well combined. Add in dark cocoa powder and stir until fully combined. Remove pot from stove top and allow to cool down a little.
  • Slowly add in the eggs/vanilla mixture, stirring as you pour them in to keep that egg from cooking too fast. Stir until fully combined. Slowly pour in flour/salt mixture stirring until combined.
  • Pour batter into parchment lined baking dish and cook for 20- 25 minutes.
  • Remove from heat and sift powdered sugar over top - then serve.
  • Tip: Save time and money by making your own powdered sugar. You can do this by simply putting your everyday sugar into a blender and blending until fully powdered.
