Ingredients
- 1/8 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. white vinegar
- 1/4 tsp. vanilla
- 3 eggs
- 1 c. white sugar
Method
- Add salt, vinegar and vanilla to egg whites; beat until mixture forms peaks.
- Add sugar very gradually and continue beating until very stiff.
- Spoon in mounds on cookie sheet covered with plain ungreased paper.
- Shape 6 large cups with spoon.
- Bake in slow oven (250° or 275°) for 45 minutes.
- Remove from paper immediately. Cool.
