Ingredients
- 1 c. crabmeat
- 1 Tbsp. dry bread crumbs
- 1 Tbsp. chopped onion
- 1 tsp. salt
- 2 Tbsp. chopped parsley
- 1 egg, lightly beaten
- 12 mushroom caps
- buttered crumbs
- Parmesan cheese
Method
- Mix crabmeat with dry bread crumbs, onion, salt and parsley. Add egg and mix well.
- Fill mushroom caps with the mixture and sprinkle with buttered crumbs and cheese.
- Place in moderate oven (350°) until lightly browned or under preheated broiler with the broiler rack 3 inches from flame.
- Allow to brown lightly before serving.
- Shrimp, finely cut, may be substituted for the crabmeat. Serves 4.
