Ingredients
- 3 cups Room Temperature Water
- 1 can Tomato Sauce (8 Ounces)
- 1 package Powdered Chicken Or Beef Flavored Gravy Mix
- 4 Tablespoons Chili Powder
- 3 Tablespoons Flour
- 2 teaspoons Cocoa Powder
- 1/2 teaspoons Garlic Salt
- 1 teaspoon Dried Marjoram Or Mexican Oregano
- 1 leaf Bay Leaf
- 2 dashes Tabasco (optional)
Method
- Combine all ingredients in a medium sauce pain and bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer 3-5 minutes until thickened.
- Note: I personally like my enchilada sauce with a thicker consistency. If you prefer a thinner sauce, replace the water with chicken or beef stock and omit the gravy powder.
