Ingredients

  • 500 g beef, Chunks (or cut from steak)
  • 1 teaspoon pepper
  • 2 tablespoons light soya sauce
  • 1 tablespoon dark soya sauce
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 2 carrots, chopped
  • 3 potatoes, cubed
  • 1 large onion, chopped

Method

  • Marinate beef with soy sauce, cornstarch, sesame oil overnight.
  • Put all ingredients into the slow cooker and cook till beef is tender.
  • Add more seasoning to taste.
  • Alternatively, simmer on low heat, stirring the pot frequently to prevent burning at the base.
