Ingredients
- 1 c. quick oats
- 1 1/4 c. boiling water
- 1 1/2 sticks oleo
- 1 c. white sugar
- 1 c. brown sugar
- 2 eggs, well beaten
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1 1/2 c. sifted flour
- 1 tsp. cinnamon
- 1 tsp. soda
- pinch of salt
Method
- Pour boiling water over oats.
- Let stand about 30 minutes. Cream oleo and both sugars and salt.
- Add eggs and vanilla.
- Mix dry ingredients with others, then add oats to mixture and bake 30 to 35 minutes.
- Add topping.
