Ingredients

  • 1 lb. hamburger
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, chopped
  • 8 oz. mushrooms
  • 1 (16 oz.) canned tomatoes
  • 1/8 c. catsup
  • 1/8 c. steak sauce
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1/8 tsp. black pepper
  • 1 1/2 c. uncooked elbow macaroni
  • 1 green pepper (optional)
  • 1 1/2 c. water

Method

  • Fry hamburger, onion, garlic and green pepper in a large skillet until light brown.
  • Add mushrooms.
  • Fry until they are light brown.
  • Add tomatoes and chop into small pieces with wooden spoon on low heat.
  • Add rest of ingredients.
  • Stir with wooden spoon until mixed.
  • Cover and simmer on low 20 minutes.
  • Stir occasionally until water is all gone.
  • Serves 4.
