- 1 lb. hamburger
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, chopped
- 8 oz. mushrooms
- 1 (16 oz.) canned tomatoes
- 1/8 c. catsup
- 1/8 c. steak sauce
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1/8 tsp. black pepper
- 1 1/2 c. uncooked elbow macaroni
- 1 green pepper (optional)
- 1 1/2 c. water
Method
- Fry hamburger, onion, garlic and green pepper in a large skillet until light brown.
- Add mushrooms.
- Fry until they are light brown.
- Add tomatoes and chop into small pieces with wooden spoon on low heat.
- Add rest of ingredients.
- Stir with wooden spoon until mixed.
- Cover and simmer on low 20 minutes.
- Stir occasionally until water is all gone.
- Serves 4.
