- 2 cans tomato soup
- 1/2 bottle (8 oz.) ketchup
- 2 lb. ground chopped meat
- 1 medium onion
- 1/2 stalk celery
- 1 small green pepper
- 2 spoons spicy brown mustard
- 1 can light-colored kidney beans
- 1 loaf French bread
Method
- Pour tomato soup and 1 can water into large pot.
- Brown meat; salt and pepper to taste.
- Add meat to soup and let simmer.
- Cut onion, celery and pepper into small pieces and add to soup and meat.
- Add ketchup and mustard.
- Stir well and simmer about 2 hours.
- Drain beans well and add to mixture.
- Simmer about 30 minutes and enjoy.
