Ingredients

  • 32 oz. frozen hash browns
  • 1/2 c. plus 2 Tbsp. oleo
  • 1 c. cream of chicken soup
  • 1 pt. sour cream
  • 1/2 c. milk
  • 1/2 c. chopped onions
  • 2 c. grated cheese
  • 1 c. crushed corn flakes

Method

  • Melt oleo in 9 x 12-inch baking pan.
  • Add half of hash browns. Mix soup, sour cream, milk and onions.
  • Pour half of this over hash browns plus 1 cup grated cheese.
  • Add rest of potatoes and pour remaining mixture over.
  • Add rest of cheese.
  • Sprinkle cornflakes over.
  • Pour the other 2 tablespoons oleo over all.
  • Bake 45 minutes at 350°.
