Ingredients
- 1/2 bag pretzels
- 1 1/2 sticks butter
- 1 Tbsp. sugar
- 8 oz. cream cheese
- 1 c. sugar
- 8 oz. Cool Whip
- 6 oz. strawberry Jell-O
- 2 pkg. frozen strawberries in syrup
Method
- Break pretzels in 9 x 13-inch dish (unsalted can be used). Heat butter and 1 tablespoon sugar; bring to boil and pour over pretzels.
- Bake at 400° for 8 minutes; cool.
- Cream the cream cheese and sugar; mix in 8 ounces Cool Whip.
- Pour over pretzels. Boil 2 cups water and Jell-O; add frozen strawberries in syrup. Cool until slightly thickened and pour over pretzels.
- Add Cool Whip and grated pretzels for topping.
