Ingredients

  • 1/2 bag pretzels
  • 1 1/2 sticks butter
  • 1 Tbsp. sugar
  • 8 oz. cream cheese
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 8 oz. Cool Whip
  • 6 oz. strawberry Jell-O
  • 2 pkg. frozen strawberries in syrup

Method

  • Break pretzels in 9 x 13-inch dish (unsalted can be used). Heat butter and 1 tablespoon sugar; bring to boil and pour over pretzels.
  • Bake at 400° for 8 minutes; cool.
  • Cream the cream cheese and sugar; mix in 8 ounces Cool Whip.
  • Pour over pretzels. Boil 2 cups water and Jell-O; add frozen strawberries in syrup. Cool until slightly thickened and pour over pretzels.
  • Add Cool Whip and grated pretzels for topping.
