Ingredients

  • 1 large tube hamburger
  • 1 can stewed tomatoes
  • 1 pkg. chili mix
  • 1 white onion
  • 1 frozen chili block
  • beef pieces (approx. 1 - 1/2 lbs.)
  • 2 cans beef broth
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 tsp. minced onion
  • 1/4 tsp. salt

Method

  • Presto (20 mins.)
  • In separate pan:
  • melt 1/4 cup butter (1/2 cube).
  • Optional:
  • Saute 1 cup sliced mushroom.
  • Add 1/2 cup flour and brown lightly.
  • Slowly add juice from meat (as though making gravy).
  • Add 1 tsp. steak sauce.
  • Add 3/4 cup sour cream 1/4 at a time until thoroughly mixed.
  • When thoroughly heated, add beef pieces and stir.
