- 2 lb. ground beef
- 1 1/3 c. chopped onion
- 1 c. chopped bell pepper
- 2 (10 1/2 oz.) cans condensed beef broth
- 2 (8 oz.) cans tomato sauce
- 2 (6 oz.) cans tomato paste
- 4 (15 oz.) cans dark red kidney beans, undrained
- 4 tsp. chili powder
- 1/2 tsp. hot pepper sauce
Method
- In a 5-quart Dutch oven or saucepan, brown beef, onions and peppers; drain.
- Stir in remaining ingredients and heat to a boil. Reduce heat to low; simmer 15 to 20 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- Makes 8 (1 1/2-cup) servings.
