- 2 lb. lean ground beef, cooked and drained
- 2 onions, chopped
- 1 pkg. Hidden Valley Ranch mix
- 1 pkg. taco seasoning mix
- 2 cans tomatoes, diced
- 2 cans pinto beans
- 1 (15 oz.) can V-8 juice
- 2 cans whole kernel corn
- 1 can black-eyed peas
- 1 tsp. red pepper flakes, crushed
Method
- Brown meat with onions and drain off fat when cooked.
- Add seasoning mixes and stir.
- Add rest of ingredients (do not drain cans).
- Simmer 25 to 30 minutes.
- Stir occasionally.
- Serve with crackers, corn bread or tortilla chips.
