Ingredients

  • 2 lb. lean ground beef, cooked and drained
  • 2 onions, chopped
  • 1 pkg. Hidden Valley Ranch mix
  • 1 pkg. taco seasoning mix
  • 2 cans tomatoes, diced
  • 2 cans pinto beans
  • 1 (15 oz.) can V-8 juice
  • 2 cans whole kernel corn
  • 1 can black-eyed peas
  • 1 tsp. red pepper flakes, crushed

Method

  • Brown meat with onions and drain off fat when cooked.
  • Add seasoning mixes and stir.
  • Add rest of ingredients (do not drain cans).
  • Simmer 25 to 30 minutes.
  • Stir occasionally.
  • Serve with crackers, corn bread or tortilla chips.
