Ingredients
- 6 slices bread
- margarine
- 1 lb. sausage
- 1 1/2 c. shredded Cheddar cheese
- 6 eggs
- 2 c. half and half
- 1 tsp. salt
Method
- Remove crust from bread and spread with margarine.
- Place in greased 9 x 13-inch pan.
- Brown sausage, drain well and crumble over bread.
- Sprinkle with cheese.
- Combine eggs, half and half and salt.
- Mix well, pour over sausage and cheese.
- Cover and chill overnight.
- Remove from refrigerator 15 minutes before baking.
- Bake, uncovered, at 350° for 45 minutes or until set. Serves 8.
