Ingredients
- 3 (18 oz.) cans yams
- 1 c. brown sugar
- 2 Tbsp. cornstarch
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. orange peel
- 2 c. orange juice
- 1/2 c. raisins
- 6 Tbsp. butter
- 1/3 c. sherry
- 1/4 c. chopped nuts
Method
- Boil the brown sugar, cornstarch, salt, orange peel and orange juice until it thickens.
- Add raisins, butter, sherry and chopped nuts.
