Ingredients

  • 1 scant stick margarine
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • a little onion, cut up
  • a little celery, cut up
  • 1/3 c. chopped parsley
  • salt and pepper
  • marjoram
  • 2 c. small toast cubes or more
  • 2 c. cooked shrimp
  • 2 Tbsp. lemon juice

Method

  • Melt margarine over low heat.
  • Saute garlic, onion and celery until clear.
  • Add parsley, salt, pepper and marjoram.
  • Stir in cubes and toss until coated.
  • Place shrimp in 9 x 9-inch greased pan, sprinkle with lemon juice.
  • Spread bread mixture lightly over shrimp.
  • Bake at 375° for about 25 minutes or until top is brown.
