Ingredients
- 3 lb. ground beef
- 1 medium onion, chopped fine
- 1 c. finely chopped celery
- 1 can tomato soup
- 1 c. catsup
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. pepper
- 8 hamburger buns
- shredded Cheddar cheese
Method
- Brown meat in large skillet.
- Add onion and celery; cook until tender.
- Drain and set aside.
- Add tomato soup, catsup, salt and pepper; simmer for 30 minutes.
- Serve on warm bun halves; sprinkle with cheese.
- (Mixture freezes well.)
