Ingredients
- 1 stick margarine or butter
- 2 c. sugar
- 4 to 5 bananas, mashed
- 3 c. flour
- 2 tsp. soda
- 2 tsp. baking powder
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 2 eggs
- 6 oz. sour cream
- 1 c. nuts
Method
- Cream margarine and sugar together.
- Add mashed bananas to creamed mixture.
- Sift together flour, soda, baking powder and salt.
- Add the beaten eggs and flour mixture to the first mixture; mix well.
- Fold in the 6 ounces of sour cream and nuts.
- Bake in two greased 8 1/2 x 5-inch loaf pans for one hour at 300°.
