Ingredients

  • 2 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen sliced strawberries
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 c. cooking oil
  • 2 c. sugar
  • 3 c. all-purpose flour
  • 1 Tbsp. cinnamon
  • 1 tsp. baking soda
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 1/4 c. chopped nuts

Method

  • Defrost berries.
  • Beat eggs until fluffy.
  • Add oil, sugar and berries.
  • Sift flour, cinnamon, soda and salt into a bowl.
  • Add berry mixture; mix well.
  • Stir in nuts.
  • Bake at 350° in 2 greased and floured 8 x 4 x 2-inch loaf pans for 1 hour and 10 minutes. Serve with whipped creamed cheese or butter.
