Ingredients
- 1 c. sugar
- 2 Tbsp. cornstarch
- 1 c. water
- 2 Tbsp. strawberry gelatin powder
- 1 baked 9-inch pie shell
- 1 qt. fresh strawberries, hulled
- whipped cream
Method
- In a saucepan, combine sugar, cornstarch and water.
- Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until thickened and clear.
- Add gelatin and mix well.
- Arrange berries in the pie shell, top with gelatin mixture.
- Chill for several hours.
- Serve with whipped cream.
- Makes 6 to 8 servings.
