Ingredients
- 1 lb. lean ground beef
- 2 medium potatoes, diced
- 1/4 head coarsely chopped cabbage
- 1 (10 3/4 oz.) can cream of chicken or cream of mushroom soup
- 6 to 8 slices American cheese
Method
- Place ground beef in an 11-inch stove top pan or electric skillet, pressing to cover bottom of pan.
- Spread vegetables over meat.
- Pour soup over mixture and place cheese slices on top.
- Add salt and pepper.
- Cover skillet.
- Start with medium-high heat. When mixture starts to steam, turn to low and cook 20 to 25 minutes.
- Serve immediately.
