- 1 pkg. cornbread crumbs or 1 pan cornbread
- 8 slices day old bread
- 1 medium chopped onion
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. pepper
- 2 cans cream of chicken soup
- 2 cans chicken broth
- 4 eggs
- 1/2 c. fine chopped celery
- 1 1/2 Tbsp. sage or poultry seasoning
- 2 Tbsp. margarine
Method
- Mix and add to breads.
- Combine thoroughly.
- Pour into crock-pot.
- Dot top with margarine.
- Cook on High for 2 hours. Then cook on low for 3 to 4 hours.
- Pour into baking dish and brown in 350°
- oven for 10 minutes.
- Serves 8 to 10.
