Ingredients

  • 1 lb. ground beef
  • 1/4 lb. ground salt pork
  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 c. light cram
  • 1/4 tsp. marjoram
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 1/8 tsp. black pepper
  • 1/2 lb. lean ground pork
  • 1 c. bread crumbs
  • 1/2 c. light cream
  • 1/4 tsp. basil
  • 1 c. water
  • 1 beef bouillon
  • 1/2 c. sour cream

Method

  • Mix meats, crumbs, egg, cream, marjoram, basil, salt, onion and pepper.
  • Shape into balls the size of walnuts; brown in skillet.
  • Place in baking dish. Combine remaining ingredients. Pour over meatballs.
  • Bake at 250° to 300° for 1 hour.
