Ingredients

  • 1/2 lb. white candied pineapple
  • 3/4 lb. red candied cherries
  • 3/4 lb. green candied cherries
  • 1 lb. white raisins
  • 1 lb. broken pecans
  • 4 c. flour
  • 2 c. sugar
  • 1 lb. butter or margarine
  • 6 well beaten eggs
  • 1 1/2 oz. bottle lemon extract

Method

  • Sift 4 cups flour over all fruit.
  • Mix with your hands.
  • Cream together sugar and butter or margarine.
  • Cream thoroughly.
  • Add well beaten eggs.
  • Mix butter mixture with fruit mixture with your hands.
  • Pour over lemon extract.
  • Mix thoroughly with hands.
  • Oil loaf pans and line bottom with oiled brown paper.
  • Bake at 300° for 1 3/4 to 2 hours.
