- 1/2 lb. white candied pineapple
- 3/4 lb. red candied cherries
- 3/4 lb. green candied cherries
- 1 lb. white raisins
- 1 lb. broken pecans
- 4 c. flour
- 2 c. sugar
- 1 lb. butter or margarine
- 6 well beaten eggs
- 1 1/2 oz. bottle lemon extract
Method
- Sift 4 cups flour over all fruit.
- Mix with your hands.
- Cream together sugar and butter or margarine.
- Cream thoroughly.
- Add well beaten eggs.
- Mix butter mixture with fruit mixture with your hands.
- Pour over lemon extract.
- Mix thoroughly with hands.
- Oil loaf pans and line bottom with oiled brown paper.
- Bake at 300° for 1 3/4 to 2 hours.
