Ingredients

  • 2 c. whole wheat flour
  • 1 c. chopped peanuts
  • 3/4 c. sugar
  • 1 Tbsp. baking powder
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 1 1/4 c. milk
  • 1 c. chunky peanut butter
  • 1 egg

Method

  • In
  • large
  • bowl stir well flour, peanuts, sugar, baking powder and
  • salt; set
  • aside.
  • With
  • whisk or fork beat milk, peanut butter
  • and
  • egg
  • until
  • well
  • blended.
  • Add
  • to
  • flour mixture; stir just to moisten.
  • Bake in greased 9 x 5 x 3-inch pan in preheated
  • 350°
  • oven
  • 60
  • to 65 minutes or until pick inserted in center
  • comes
  • out clean. Cool in pan on rack 10 minutes. Remove
  • from
  • pan; cool completely on rack.
  • Makes 1 loaf.
