Ingredients

  • 4 to 6 apples
  • 2 c. self-rising flour
  • 1/2 c. shortening
  • water
  • 1/2 ?? butter of margarine
  • 1 c. water
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 1 tsp. cinnamon

Method

  • Peel apples; dice into small pieces and set aside.
  • Mix together the flour and shortening.
  • Add enough water to form a soft dough.
  • Divide dough into biscuit size sections.
  • Roll each section as flat as possible.
  • Put apples on flattened dough; fold each area of circle up, tucking at top to seal in apples.
  • Place these in a greased baking dish.
