Ingredients

  • 8 pieces fryer chicken (2 legs, 2 thighs, 2 breasts, 2 wings or your choice)
  • crumbs made from wheat bread (about 3 c.)
  • salt and pepper
  • 1/2 tsp. thyme
  • 1/2 c. melted oleo
  • 1 pod garlic or more to your taste
  • dash cayenne pepper
  • 1 Tbsp. Greek seasoning (optional)
  • seasonings to your taste

Method

  • Wash chicken and pat dry.
  • Mix crumbs and add seasonings in medium size bowl.
  • Melt oleo in medium size bowl.
  • Dip chicken in oleo and roll in the crumbs and place in baking dish.
  • Bake in a 350° oven for 45 to 50 minutes.
  • If not brown on top, place under broiler for a few minutes.
  • Serve immediately.
  • Serves 4 to 6.
