- 1 large fryer chicken
- 4 Tbsp. water
- 3 Tbsp. catsup
- 3 Tbsp. brown sugar
- 1/4 c. vinegar
- 1 tsp. chili powder
- 1 tsp. paprika
- 1 tsp. mustard
- 2 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
- 2 Tbsp. lemon juice
- 1 tsp. salt
- 2 Tbsp. oleo, melted
Method
- Blend all ingredients; heat until dissolved.
- Cut chicken up; skin.
- Salt and pepper.
- Line pan with foil.
- Dip each piece in mixture and place on foil.
- Pour remainder over and seal.
- Bake at 450° for 15 minutes, then turn oven down for 1 hour and 15 minutes.
