Ingredients
- 1/2 c. water
- 1 1/2 c. sugar
- 1 tsp cinnamon or possibly more to taste
- 1 lb almonds with skins
Method
- Bring water, sugar and cinnamon to a boil;stirring constantly Add in almonds and toss to coat.
- Remove almonds with slotted spoon.
- Arrange on greased jellyroll pan.
- Bake at 350 for 20 min, basting twice with reserved syrup.
- Cold.
- Store airtight.
