Ingredients
- 3 -4 lbs whole chickens
- 2 12 cups self rising flour
- 2 eggs
- 1 cup skim milk
- 12 cup green onion, chopped
- 4 tablespoons oil
- 1 tablespoon salt
- 1 tablespoon sage
- 1 tablespoon pepper
- 1 tablespoon parsley
Method
- Boil and bone chicken (keep broth chicken was boiled in).
- Mix together flour, eggs, milk, chopped green onions, oil, salt, sage, pepper, and parsley.
- Roll mixture out to 1/4 inch and cut in strips.
- Drop in broth and boil 20 to 30 minutes.
- Put chicken in pot in small batches.
- Simmer for a few minutes and serve hot.
