- 3 1/2 lb. chicken or beef
- 1/2 to 1 c. green pepper
- 1/2 to 1 c. onion
- 1/2 to 1 c. celery
- 1 stick butter
- 1/2 lb. American cheese
- 1 (10 1/2 oz.) can cream of chicken soup
- 4 1/2 oz. egg noodles
- 1 c. cheese crackers
Method
- Cook and debone chicken (save broth).
- Melt butter and add onion, pepper and celery.
- Saute until tender.
- Add cheese and melt.
- Stir in soup.
- Boil noodles in broth.
- Drain.
- Mix all together in large bowl and put in casserole dish.
- Add crushed crackers on top and cook 30 minutes at 350°.
