Ingredients

  • 3 1/2 lb. chicken or beef
  • 1/2 to 1 c. green pepper
  • 1/2 to 1 c. onion
  • 1/2 to 1 c. celery
  • 1 stick butter
  • 1/2 lb. American cheese
  • 1 (10 1/2 oz.) can cream of chicken soup
  • 4 1/2 oz. egg noodles
  • 1 c. cheese crackers

Method

  • Cook and debone chicken (save broth).
  • Melt butter and add onion, pepper and celery.
  • Saute until tender.
  • Add cheese and melt.
  • Stir in soup.
  • Boil noodles in broth.
  • Drain.
  • Mix all together in large bowl and put in casserole dish.
  • Add crushed crackers on top and cook 30 minutes at 350°.
