Ingredients
- 1 1/2 tsp. salt
- 2 pkg. quick rise yeast
- 3 c. whole wheat flour
- 1/2 c. honey
- 1 large egg
- about 4 c. all-purpose flour
Method
- About 2 hours before serving or day ahead:
- In large bowl, combine salt, yeast, and whole wheat flour.
- In small saucepan, over low heat, heat 1 2/3 cups water until very warm (125° to 130°).
