- 1 can pinto beans
- 1 can lima beans
- 2 cans pork and beans
- 1 large onion, chopped
- 1 large bell pepper, chopped
- 1/2 c. brown sugar
- 1 Tbsp. mustard
- 1 can black-eyed peas
- 1 can kidney beans
- 2 lb. ground beef
- 2 c. catsup
- 1 c. red wine
- 1 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
Method
- Partially drain and mix all beans in large ovenproof pan. Brown ground beef with onion and pepper.
- Drain excess fat and mix meat with beans.
- Stir in remaining ingredients and bake 1 hour in 350° oven.
- Can also be done in large crock-pot.
- You may also substitute your favorite beans for any on list; just keep amounts the same.
