Ingredients

  • 1 can pinto beans
  • 1 can lima beans
  • 2 cans pork and beans
  • 1 large onion, chopped
  • 1 large bell pepper, chopped
  • 1/2 c. brown sugar
  • 1 Tbsp. mustard
  • 1 can black-eyed peas
  • 1 can kidney beans
  • 2 lb. ground beef
  • 2 c. catsup
  • 1 c. red wine
  • 1 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce

Method

  • Partially drain and mix all beans in large ovenproof pan. Brown ground beef with onion and pepper.
  • Drain excess fat and mix meat with beans.
  • Stir in remaining ingredients and bake 1 hour in 350° oven.
  • Can also be done in large crock-pot.
  • You may also substitute your favorite beans for any on list; just keep amounts the same.
