Ingredients
- 1 large cabbage
- 1/2 green pepper (optional)
- 6 large carrots (optional)
- 1 tsp. salt
- 2 c. sugar
- 1 tsp. dry mustard
- 1/2 c. water
- 1 c. vinegar
- 1 tsp. celery seed
Method
- Shred vegetables.
- Sprinkle with salt; let stand 1 hour. Drain.
- Combine remaining ingredients; bring to boil.
- Boil for 3 minutes; cool.
- Stir well into cabbage.
- Let stand 3 minutes. Freeze in containers.
