- 1/2 c. mayonnaise
- 1/2 tsp. garlic salt
- 1 tsp. soy sauce
- 4 green onions (and tops)
- 1 stalk celery, sliced
- 6 oz. chow mein noodles
- 2 to 3 tsp. minced fresh ginger
- 1/2 tsp. dry mustard
- 6 to 8 oz. can water chestnuts, drained and thinly sliced
- 10 oz. frozen peas, thawed
- butter lettuce (optional)
Method
- Stir mayonnaise, ginger, garlic salt, mustard and soy sauce. Chill. Dice green onions and celery. Combine with peas and water chestnuts.
- Cover and chill.
