Ingredients

  • 1/2 c. mayonnaise
  • 1/2 tsp. garlic salt
  • 1 tsp. soy sauce
  • 4 green onions (and tops)
  • 1 stalk celery, sliced
  • 6 oz. chow mein noodles
  • 2 to 3 tsp. minced fresh ginger
  • 1/2 tsp. dry mustard
  • 6 to 8 oz. can water chestnuts, drained and thinly sliced
  • 10 oz. frozen peas, thawed
  • butter lettuce (optional)

Method

  • Stir mayonnaise, ginger, garlic salt, mustard and soy sauce. Chill. Dice green onions and celery. Combine with peas and water chestnuts.
  • Cover and chill.
