Ingredients

  • 1/2 c. vital gluten flour
  • 1 1/2 tsp. garlic powder
  • 1 tsp. onion powder
  • 1 Tbsp. soy flour
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1/4 Tbsp. yeast flakes
  • 1/4 Tbsp. wheat germ
  • 1 tsp. sage
  • 1 tsp. basil
  • 1 3/4 c. oats
  • 1 1/4 c. hot water
  • 2 Tbsp. oil
  • 3 Tbsp. soy sauce

Method

  • Mix dry ingredients in bowl.
  • Mix together wet ingredients and add to wet.
  • Spray coffee can or equivalent canister with Pam. Place gluten in container and cover with wax paper. Pour one

  • Cover and steam 4 hours on high.
  • Remove and cool. Slice or use in burger recipe.
